BANEGAARDEN – COPENHAGEN’S GREEN OASIS

BANEGAARDEN – COPENHAGEN’S GREEN OASIS

In the middle of Copenhagen, on DSB’s railway terrain, Grandma Sita discovered BaneGaarden, nine renovate wooden barns in a piece of land with wild nature, blackberry bushes, shrubs and old trees. Every Saturday it’s nice to see that you can get fresh local produce like the good vegetables from Lis & Ejgil, as well as tasty fish and seafood from Blue Lobster ➡️@bluelobsterapp

💚 Welcome to BaneGaarden, a green universe at Otto Busses Vej 45, 2450 kbh. More info about ➡️ banegaarden.com

BaneGaarden, a green world filled with sensuality and magic. Here we are in the process of developing a green lighthouse, where aesthetics, sustainability, health, plants, taste experiences and natural sensuality are the focal point. A lighthouse community excites and which tourists hear about, marvel at, visit and return to. Locals, travelers and politicians use the place as inspiration, enjoyment of life, business and just a place to copy ⬇️

  • Sustainability

At BaneGaarden – in the middle of all the greenery – nine wooden barns worthy of preservation are in poor condition. They oozes life and stories that we want to cherish. Once they were DSB’s storage warehouses for wood, but for the last 50 years they have fallen into disrepair, and the roof structures in particular have been hit hard.

  • Give your time

BaneGaarden gives you the opportunity to explore a number of activities – both by hand and by hand, gain knowledge about the earth’s resources, ecology and sustainability. Here is a farm shop and edible organic, plant-focused experiences. The place gathers the latest edible plants, fermentation experiences, kombucha and kefir in many shades. BaneGaarden is experienced as the food of the future; more raw, more plants, more locally and then it pours of its knowledge to you so you go inspired home and want more sustainability because you suddenly see it as a gift instead of an injunction. All based on community and commitment, and which challenges the bustle many experience in everyday life. Coffee to stay – not to go…

  • Things take time

You will experience that BaneGaarden will be created organically over the next few years – over time we will, among other things. establish the wildest nursery, a Japanese tea house, display sustainable building materials and create space for a lot of young entrepreneurs with a focus on sustainability.

Despite BaneGaarden’s activities are in winter hibernation until spring 🌻 There is still the opportunity to enjoy the village atmosphere and tranquility at Aarstidernes Gaardbutik 🌿 Café and shop 🌿 Farm shop. They have expanded the range and not least the square meters, to create a safer framework for you to shop in, so you can go on an excursion down here.

  • DID YOU KNOW…

DSB, an abbreviation of Danske Statsbaner (Danish State Railways), is the largest Danish train operating company, and the largest in Scandinavia. While DSB is responsible for passenger train operation on most of the Danish railways, goods transport and railway maintenance are outside its scope. DSB runs a commuter rail system, called the S-train, in the area around the Danish capital, Copenhagen, that connects the different areas and suburbs in the greater metropolitan area.

DSB was founded in 1885 when the state-owned companies De jysk-fynske Statsbaner and De sjællandske Statsbaner merged.
