💡 Let’s find out how the community fridges work:
The locations usually have two fridges – what should be inside?
– A wet fridge is connected to the power like a regular fridge. All cooked food, meat only if cooked, dairy products, and any other products that should be refrigerated normally.
– A dry fridge is like a cupboard. Fruit and vegetables that do not need to be refrigerated, bread and pastries, dried foods like grains, pasta, flour, rice, etc.

🥑🥖 Food rescue is the practice of gleaning edible food that would otherwise go to waste from places such as grocery stores, bakeries, or supermarkets, and distributing it to local food programs.
