Grandma Sita, Øresund Excubator participant, very much enjoyed meeting so many like-minded entrepreneurs with a passion for sustainability. 🤗💚🌎

“…I seek to recover the shared time between different generations, through the love for homemade food and promoting healthy and sustainable habits. Unfortunately, in recent years consumers are not entirely aware of the fact, that every product we save from waste, has a positive impact on our climate. And I want to change that with Grandma Sita. Funny fact, and then coming to Denmark, you have these world famous butter cookies. Grandmothers all over the world have these Danish cookie tin boxes that once stored butter cookies but now store sewing kits, it’s a great retro example of reuse and repurpose.” – Elena founder of Grandma Sita and ØreXund Excubator participant.many like-minded entrepreneurs with a passion for sustainability.

  • DID YOU KNOW…

The Øresund Region is a metropolitan region that comprises eastern Denmark and Skåne in southern Sweden. Centred around the Øresund strait and the two cities which lie on either side, Copenhagen in Denmark and Malmö in Sweden, the region is connected by the Øresund Bridge, which spans the strait at its southern end, and the HH Ferry route between Helsingør, Denmark, and Helsingborg, Sweden, at the narrowest point of the strait.

The Øresund Region consists of both rural and urban areas. There are two metropolitan areas within the region, Copenhagen metropolitan area and Metropolitan Malmö. Areas on the periphery of the region have a relatively low population density, whereas the two metropolitan areas of Copenhagen and Malmö are two of the most densely populated in Scandinavia. The Øresund Region is an important hub for economic activity in Scandinavia.
